The Ohio Affiliate of Prevent Blindness Adult Vision program provides volunteers with the proper tools to help screen for early detection of eye problems. Trainings offer instructions on how to conduct an adult vision risk assessment, perform near and distance visual acuity screening, detailed information on “aging eye” diseases and disorders, follow up care for referrals, and educational resources and access to vision screening charts.
“We are pleased to help educate Ohioans of all ages about the importance of protecting their precious gift of sight by adopting healthy habits in regard to eye care and eye safety,” said Sherry Williams, President and CEO of the Ohio Affiliate of Prevent Blindness.
