Savanna was screened at 21st Prep School in November 2013. Savanna did not pass her screening and was referred for a complete eye examination. Savanna was diagnosed with Amblyopia in both eyes, myopia and has a severe astigmatism. She is now the proud owner of glasses and loves her new glasses. Savanna is under care at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee and will be re-evaluated in May. Esmeralda, Savanna’s mother, has this to say “Without the screening at Savanna’s school, we would have not had any idea that Savanna needed glasses at this early age. We are very appreciative of everything that you do and thank you for everything that you have done for Savanna. We are forever thankful and grateful for your program.”
