Healthy Eyes, Healthy Futures

Healthy Eyes, Healthy Futures is funded through the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program (HWPP). Healthy Eyes, Healthy Futures allows Prevent Blindness Wisconsin to work alongside professionals from ten Milwaukee Public Schools, a district in which only 9% of children referred for a complete eye exam report receiving the care they need. Prevent Blindness Wisconsin is working with these ten Milwaukee Public Schools to formulate and establish a follow-up protocol that will ensure that referred children receive a complete eye exam and glasses (if needed) after they do not pass their vision screening.

Companies can sponsor a vision screening in their community and provide employees with the chance to perform that vision screening.
