Like many parents, Jack Haessly’s were unaware of Jack’s vision problem. After he was screened and referred for care with a diagnosis of amblyopia, it became clear why Jack was behind in his reading skills, he couldn’t see. After treatment and glasses, Jack has become a well-adjusted and thriving 6th grader who enjoys swimming competitively, playing video games and taking care of his pets.
