Jessica Knudson was screened and referred for care when she was 3 years old. Diagnosed with amblyopia, astigmatism and farsightedness, Jessica’s eyes were opened! Thanks to early treatment, she could finally do the things she loved, watch TV and read, without getting a headache. Jessica and her mom would decorate her patches, helping her to gain confidence and correct her amblyopia. Jessica is now a biology teacher and in her free time enjoys staying active with her boyfriend by playing soccer and teaching tennis as well as reading.
