Children need healthy vision for success in school and life, yet making sure children receive the vision care they need can be difficult. Parent vision health education and understanding is essential to ensuring children receive vision care, but a lack of parent engagement poses a challenge for Prevent Blindness Wisconsin partners across the state. Together we can address this issue and ensure Head Start children have the healthy vision they need to learn and play.
Join us as we discuss current programs and resources and help explore more meaningful ways to engage with parents to ensure children receive needed vision care. We hope to learn how Prevent Blindness Wisconsin can facilitate parental education and provide follow-up support to Head Start partners and the families they serve.
Together, we can develop sustainable solutions to improve parent engagement and education. Sign up now for one of two focus group sessions. RSVP by October 1st.
